January Fun for Miss Ivy

Ivy's first month was quite busy and filled with many firsts. 

"I'm all dolled up for my first birthday party!  Do you think the hat is too much?"

"I'm ready for the beach....in January!"

The beach was a bit windy, so Ivy had to be bundled up...which of course turned into sleeping.

"I can't take my eyes off these flashing lights!"

There are lights on the swing....you just can't seem them in the picture.

"WAAAAAAHHHHH!  I'm not the laundry!"

Much of Ivy's first month was spent sleeping.  One of her favorite spots was on Daddy's chest.

She was also quite comfortable in her rocker.

She could also get quite cozy in her Moses' basket.

Between all that sleeping, she did have a few hours of awake time.

"OOOOHHHH!"

"Do you see my finger?"

The first month also brought her first shots.  No fun, but she got a cute Hello Kitty band aid to ease the pain.

"HAPPY 1ST MONTH BIRTHDAY!"

The Many Faces of Moses

As our little man has grown up, he has become quite the character.  With just a simple look, you can tell exactly what he is thinking.

"I can get away with anything...heehee!"  

"I don't know!"

"HMMMM....Let me think about it!"

"I'm a silly monkey!"

"Pacific Ocean....here I come!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!  I'm FUNNY!"

Happy Birthday Rowan!

In January, we celebrated Rowan's 2nd birthday!  Moses loves the Raymundo girls and all of their exciting toys! 

"YUP!  I'm driving a pink car!  I think I look pretty stylish!"

"You better get out of my way!  It may have princesses on it, but it's still a motorcycle!"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROWAN!  Thanks for inviting us to celebrate with you!"

Sibling Love

Moses and Ivy have been become quite the lovable duo.  Moses has plenty of hugs and kisses for his little sister, and Ivy is just completely enamoured by her big brother.  Every time she hears his voice, she turns to him and smiles. 

"Ivy, I still love you and think you're pretty even if Mommy makes you wear that ridiculous hat!"

"We're all dressed up for Ivy's first birthday party!  Don't we look awesome?"

"UHHHHMMM....You're squeezing me too tight, big bro!"

Nothing sweeter than a kiss from your little sister!

Introducing Ivy Elizabeth....

On December 12th at 11:34pm, our bundle of joy made an early appearance (12 days early) into the world.  Ivy Elizabeth was born weighing 6lbs1oz and measured 18 1/2 inches. 

"Hello Mommy!"

"I think I already have Daddy wrapped around my little finger!"

It was an immediate bond between brother and sister.

"I'm all dressed up and ready to go home!"

When we got home, brother and sister got some good cuddling and bonding time together.

"Just like my brother, I love my pacifier!"

Swaddled and asleep is a little bit of heaven!

"My first sponge bath was a little too chilly and no fun for me!"

"However, my first real bath was a pleasant and fun experience!  What girl doesn't like to be pampered in a spa bath?"

Life of a CRAZY Toddler

The life of a crazy toddler allows for some great and amusing pictures!

The joy of a new baby coming is getting out all the baby toys.  And who enjoys baby toys?!?!  MOSES!

2nd Annual Toddler Christmas Party

The Second Annual Toddler Christmas Party was held at the Rockwell's house again. 

Here's the crazy toddler picture.  Poor Sam is lying in the back of the crib.

Now the more calm picture of the crazy toddlers.

Santa even made a guest appearance at the party.  Moses wasn't too shy to tell him exactly what he wanted again.

Someone else wanted a turn since he had never met Santa.
