Guess Who's Sleeping in my Crib?

Moses got an unexpected visitor in his crib the other day.  He got a really cozy tucking in that day.

"Can you believe Mommy fit in the crib?"

San Diego Children's Museum

A couple of weeks ago, we hit the San Diego Children's Museum.  Moses had a great time checking out all the new toys.

Moses also enjoyed the dress up area.

"I wanna be a FIREMAN!"

"No, maybe I'll go on a safari first!"

"How about we do both?  I can be a fireman going on a safari!"

"NAH!  I think I'll just be a fireman.  I think I look pretty good!"

He was able to build some really cool cars.  Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to get a picture of them, because as quickly as he built something, he destroyed it.

After all the building and destroying, Moses was ready to sit back and enjoy a puppet show by Daddy.

"Daddy is FUNNY!!"

"GREAT SHOW!"

We ended the trip with some water table fun.

Big Bear

At the beginning of October, we headed up to Big Bear for a little weekend getaway.  Moses found a sign that stated where he wanted to stop first.

"I think we should get some of this!"

Yup, it's official, we have that messy kid!

"Don't bother me....I'm enjoying some good rock candy!  If you check out my shirt, you can see that I already enjoyed some yummy spaghetti!"

After stuffing our faces...or shirts, we went on a horse drawn carriage ride through downtown Big Bear.

"Hey...what's that smell?"

"WOW!  It's really STINKY!!!"

"The horse peed.  I wanna see!"

"That horse still smells STINKY!"

While walking around downtown, Moses found a hand chair that he had to sit on.

That night we hit the arcade, where Moses proved to be quite the driver.  He must get that from his mommy.

The next morning, Moses got a delicious treat....a homemade marshmallow.

"This is the best marshmallow EVER!  And I'm NOT sharing!"

After the sweets, it was time to head to Oktoberfest.  There were lots of cool vendors, and of course, Moses found something he had to have.

"Can we take this giraffe home, PLEASE?"

We were able to lure him away with some music and the CHICKEN DANCE!

"Thanks Big Bear!  It was a great time!"

I'm Flying the Coop......

So at the ripe old age of 2, Moses decided that he was old enough to move out on his own.

"I've packed my bags and I'm ready to tackle the world!"

"Did you say something? I know....you guys will miss me!  I LOVE YOU TOO"

"I guess I'll stay home for now......for Mom and Dad's sake!"

The Many Faces of Moses......

As a toddler, Moses has mastered the art of face making.  He is quite talented.

"This is my silly face....makes you laugh....huh?!?"

"No autographs please!  I'm trying to hide from the paparazzi."

It Comes to an End with Disneyland

So after three fun-filled days, Moses' birthday celebration came to an end at Disneyland.
Moses got to meet Goofy for the first time.

After several rides, Moses took time to pose with Lightning McQueen.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.....AGAIN...and AGAIN....and AGAIN!"

"THANK YOU REESE and ROWAN for making the end to my birthday celebration SO MUCH FUN!"

Next Stop....Birthday Party.....

The day finally arrived to celebrate Moses's big day with his closest friends!  Well, when it was showtime, Moses did not want to wear either of his pirate hats.  So we took party pics with them instead.

Here's Jason and Ryden sporting silly hats and silly smiles!

Here's big boy Bennett with his mommy, Kelly.

Reese wanted no part of the pirate hat, so we just made Michael wear it.  What a sport!

Just like her older sister, Rowan wouldn't wear it either.  So we made Meredith wear it.

Corey and Moses up to no good.  They shook every soda can in the cooler and then stuck them back in for some poor unsuspecting soul.  What boys!

"You mean this cupcake is all for me....and there's fire on top of it!"

"Okay I guess I'll blow out the fire....if my wish will really come true!"

"YUM...YUM....YUM!!!"

"Don't mess with me!  I'm eating cake!" - Talia

"Did I get a little frosting on my face?" - Charlie

"Can you tell that I liked the cupcake?" - Celeste

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AGAIN....and AGAIN!"

"THANKS TO ALL MY FRIENDS FOR MAKING IT A GREAT ONE!"

Next Birthday Stop.....Legoland....

On Moses' actual birthday, we headed to Legoland.  Halmani and Halapoji got to join in on the fun.

The first stop was an airplane ride for the boys.

After a few more rides, we headed to Castle Hill to play on the obstacle course.  The first one down the steep slide was the birthday boy!

The next brave soul was Halapoji.  Don't think he's been down a slide in years!

The next victim was Halmani....a little nervous but ready for the challenge!

The last victim was Daddy himself.

After all that adventure, the last stop was the splash area!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME....AGAIN!"

Birthday Weekend.....First Stop....Chuck E. Cheese....

When asked what he wanted to do for his pre-birthday celebration, our monkey wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese....of course.

So the riding of every motorized vehicle in the place begins.
"I've got driving skills!"

Now it's time to kick back on a helicopter ride.

"Pull over. I'm Officer Moses!"

From police officer to a chauffeur....what a life!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!"
