Just killing some time.....

Every Thursday, Ivy has art class right down the street from Moses' school. This is quite convenient, but Moses gets dropped off at 9:30 and Ivy's art class doesn't start until 10. So we have to find some ways to kill time. Today it was pouring rain, so we decided to just hang out in the car and watch a movie. 

"I got front row seats to this movie!"

 

"Do I look entertained?!?" 

 

Luckily, we only had to kill 20 minutes. 

 

Pumpkin Patch

Halloween is quickly approaching, so last weekend was time for a pumpkin patch visit.  We headed to Washington Farms, which is supposedly the best pumpkin patch nearby.   

Our visit started off with a hayride to get to the fun activities that waited for us on the farm. 

Then it was time for some FUN!  Moses wanted to head straight to the playground.  First for Moses was the slide...not any slide, a slide made of PVC pipes (only in the South).

Then it was the John Deere tricycle for Moses.

"YEE-HAW!! I need a real tractor!"

Ivy, of course, found the swing!

They had a HUGE pillow jump thing.  It was awesome!

 

"Check out my ninja skills!"

 

 

Ivy needed a snack break and found the kettle corn.  

"YUM!YUM!"

Then Ivy found her dream place, a corn box.

 

"Can I eat this?  HA!HA! I'm kidding....maybe!"

"I LOVE IT IN HERE!"

"I'm OVER with this corn!"

After hours of fun, it was time to go!

"See ya next year!"

Great Play

Ivy joined a gymnastics class at Great Play. She absolutely loves it. She's been in the class for almost a month and this is the first time that Mommy was able to take some pictures. 

Coach Emily took Ivy on a ride on an inner tube. 

"I LOVE bubbles....so much that I try to eat them!!"

"The thing I LOVE the most is the SWING!"

Moses the Builder

This past weekend, our community had a safety awareness day.  The Kappys are all about safety, so we had to head over. There was a Home Depot building booth where the kids could make a rescue plane. Moses was quite the builder!! 

Moses was pretty handy with the hammer. 

He was also quite the painter. 

After some hammering and painting, Moses built this all by himself. 

Guess who he got these talents from?!?

Costume Try-Out #2

Today was the first day of October, so what better way to kick off the month than to try out another Halloween costume.
