Guderian Visit....

Last week, our good friends from Tulsa, Oklahoma came out to visit.  It was the first time that all the kids got to meet each other.

LA Trip...

Uncle Steve had gotten us tickets to the Dodgers game, so we decided to make it a weekend trip.  On the way up to LA, we stopped at the children's museum in Orange County. 

Moses had a great time exploring the submarine.

Ivy got to slide down her first indoor slide.

"I've got the whole word in my hands!"

Our little monkey was very excited and determined to climb the rock wall all by himself.  Daddy was a little unsure but let him try it.

The first few steps and not too terrible.

Just in case, Daddy always had a hand up, but Moses didn't need his help.  He made it all the way up to the top by himself.

"WOO-HOO!  I climbed the mountain!"

It was a great little family getaway and the first one for Ivy.

7 months...

Legoland Firsts....

We have been to Legoland more times than one can count.  But, it's a whole new experience for Ivy.  She has been going since she was a month old, but just recently she has gotten to experience more of the park and outside of her Ergo.

Moses thought it was pretty funny to have his baby sister on the train.

Happy 4th of July!

This year, we celebrated the Fourth with a barbecue at the Youngbergs.  Moses always has a great time there because Chris always has a new fun gadget to play with.

Ivy has been putting her sense of taste to the test.  Like any baby, she has to put everything in her mouth.  Well lately, she's found something else to put in her mouth.

"YUP!  I found my toes!"

"But nothing beats my thumb!"

First Day of Camp....

To help get ready for preschool, we decided that Moses should go to camp over the summer.  This way he could meet his preschool teachers and make some new friends.

Mommy can't believe that this time has already come.

"GOOOOO CAMP!  I'm READY!!"

He was still all smiles in the parking lot.

Our little man did AWESOME!  He had a rough start but ended up having a wonderful time!

Best Friends Forever....

Ivy and Zoey are best friends in the making.  Here's a picture of them in matching outfits.  Now how cute is that?

Half way there.....

Look who turned 6 months old! 

After turning 6 months, Ivy got to experience some exciting firsts.

"I'm in a big girl carseat and so much happier!"

She also got to swing for the first time, which she absolutely loved like her big brother.

Carlsbad Beach Fest

In the beginning of June, Moses competed in his first race at the Carlsbad Beach Fest.  Our little monkey ran the 1-mile race.

"Just keep running!  Hey Ayla, isn't that cheating?"

It was a tough race.  Everyone needed a good foot rub.

Pomp & Circumstance...

On June 6th, our little man graduated....from Toddler 2's.  He is growing up way too fast!

Swim...Swim...Swim.....

In May, Ivy had her first visit to the pool.  She loves taking a bath, so we knew that she would love the swimming pool.

Legoland with the Szabos

With the end of school, the Szabos were finally able to join us for a trip to Legoland.  We were so excited to get the spend the day with Bennett and Autumn!

May happenings....

The month of May was filled with many firsts for our little Ivy girl.  One of the most exciting things was her first taste of solid foods.   

"I'm getting ready....just testing out my high chair!"

After her first few bites, Ivy was in a trance.

 "All these new flavors are tickling my test buds!"

I think she likes it!

No matter how old she gets, some things don't change.  

"Sssshhhhhh!!  I still need my beauty sleep."

"I still love to play!"
