Toddler 1's Graduation

June 8th was the last day of Toddler 1's.  It was a great school year and Moses learned and grew so much.  Ayla came over that morning because her Mommy had to work, so the two monkeys got to play around.

Best buds.....for this picture, at least.

Moses chowing down on some fruit for his last snack as a Toddler 1.

"I'm gonna miss this big scooper truck!"

The best part was the last goodbye kiss from the puppet.

Bring on Toddler 2's!

Vegas Baby!

On the first weekend of June, Daddy had to be in Vegas for work, so we decided to make a family trip out of it.  Since Daddy had to work during the day, we went to meet a friend from college and her daughter at the park.

Moses had a great time playing in the spray grounds.

However, the heat got to him, so he wanted to play in the car with the a/c on.

On our last day, Daddy had to work, so we went to the Lied Children's Museum.  It was a really fun place and Moses got to work right away.

"Don't bother me, I'm working!"

"It's hard work, but I'm the man for the job!"

Moses's favorite thing was working the pulley system.  It would move blocks up to the top and drop them out of a chute by turning the huge wheel.

"Look at the blocks go up...up...up!"

"I'm trying to turn the wheel faster!"

"Yeah!  I did it!"

The water table was also a huge hit.

"I LOVE WATER!"

"Check out that cool tornado!"

"UHM....not sure if I'm suppose to be in with the balls."

"GOODBYE VEGAS! Whatever happened here, stays here....right?"

It's a Hard Day's Night.....Strawberry Picking!

As one of the last outings for Moses's Toddler 1 class, they went strawberry picking.

Moses was quite the strawberry picker.

"I have to try one to make sure they are good enough to pick."

"I'm on a break, so I can enjoy another strawberry!"

After a hard day (or more like 30 minutes) of strawberry picking, the troops enjoyed some more delicious strawberries!

"Here's my bucket to prove how hard I worked!"

Notice that the bucket isn't completely full.  Moses enjoyed a few too many strawberries on the job.

Oodles of Noodles

Moses is quite the eater.  However, when it comes to noodles, it becomes something quite different.  Let's just say it's easier to strip the crazy monkey to his skivvies.

"I'm saving the noodles on my chest for later."

"What?!  I'm just enjoying my dinner!"

"Would you like some noodles?  I have plenty!"

"YEAH!!  I LOVE NOODLES!"

And this is the damage.  Do you think he got any noodles in his mouth?

We LOVE You, Grandpa Joel!!!

In May, we went to services to remember Grandpa Joel.  It's hard to believe that it's already been 7 years since his passing.  We remember him everyday!

"WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH, GRANDPA JOEL!"

Here's three generations of Kaplowitz boys.

Good Times with Good Friends

On the last weekend in May, we headed to Old Towne with some of Moses's buddies.  We had a great time with some good friends, good and music!

Here are the Daddies and the toddlers.

One Fish, Two Fish......in the pool

9In May, Moses and a couple of his buddies started swim lessons.  He is quite the fish in water.

He has definitely gotten the hang of kicking his legs.
"This is a piece of cake!"

"GULP! GULP! I can even go under water with ease!"

"See I still got a smile on my face!"

"I can even jump out of water and knock down a turtle!"

"NO WAY!!  Fish don't float on their backs unless it's the end!!  I AM NOT GOING TO DO THIS!"

"Look at me!  I AM MOSES! I'm walking on water!"

"High Five Ryden for a great swim!"

Here's a family portrait with our little fish!
