Trick or Treat!

On Halloween, we went trick-or-treating with some neighbors and friends.  Lacking in our paparazzi skills, we didn't get any really good trick-or-treating pictures.

"AARRGGHH!  Trick-or-Treat!"

"Next stop, PLEASE!  We need more candy!"

How many kids can fit in one wagon?

However, we got some good pictures of Moses playing with his new friend, Samantha, and all of her fun toys.

Pushing Samantha's stroller.

Sitting in the pink booster chair.

Samantha being a good mommy to Moses.

Reading with the girls.

Just chillin' on the bean bag.  Halloween is over....til next year!

Goodbye Pumpkin Patch!

It was Halloween and the last day for the Pumpkin Patch.  Since we still had tickets, we decided to go for one last time.  This time, Daddy went down the big slide with Moses.

"YIPPEE!  We made it to the top!"

"WOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

"That was AWESOME!"

"HEY!  Get off me, Daddy!"

All the rides and games were half off, so we were able to do everything and still have tickets left over.  So we decided to play some games to get rid of them.

The Kappy boys decided to test their strength at the sledgehammer game.

"HA!HA!  I told you I was STRONG!"

Who do you think really wanted this prize?

Brick-or-Treat at Legoland

On Halloween eve, we joined the Raymundo family for Brick-or-Treat at Legoland.

Here's Rowan the ladybug.

Moses as the alligator.

'

Since we're still amateurs at being part of the paparazzi, we didn't get a photo of Reese.  She was beautiful Ariel.

As soon as we got there, we stopped for the photo op in the large Lego pumpkin.

Here are the Raymundo girls.

Of course, we had to ride the fairytale boat ride.

Say, "CHEESE RAYMUNDOS!"

The line to go actual trick-or-treating was out of control, so there's no more pictures.  But we had a GREAT time with the Raymundos....just no candy!

Pumpkin carving tradition.....

The Kappy family has a tradition of carving pumpkins for Halloween.  Mommy and Daddy were way more excited than Moses about this family tradition.  He was entertained by the idea for a little while.

Then he was done and over it.

He was more interested in eating the pumpkin.

Then he moved onto playing with his toys.

Who gives a one year old a knife?  Oh his Daddy to bribe him back into pumpkin carving.  Anything for family tradition, right?

But this is why you don't give a one year old a knife?

After some horseplay, both Kappy boys were back to carving away.

And here are the finished products....not too shabby for Moses's first time.

Happy Halloween from the Kappy jack-o-lanterns!

Preschool Halloween Party....

The Wednesday before Halloween, Moses had a party for preschool.  It was another day that Mommy had to work, so Daddy got to go to the party.  A majority of the paparazzi was missing, so there's only one picture of our alligator.  Well, a half way alligator, because Moses didn't want to keep the costume zipped up or on his head.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Pumpkin Patch Revisited...

Since Mommy missed out on all the fun at the Pumpkin Patch, we decided to go back.  The first thing that Moses wanted to do was to find the perfect pumpkin for carving jack-o-lanterns.

"Well I think I found a few that I like, but I better keep looking to be sure."

"Oooooh!  These look nice too."

"Okay, I think I've found my pumpkins!"

So Mommy got to see first hand how brave Moses was riding the elephants all by himself.  It was quite impressive!

Check out how cool he is with his arm around the back of the seat.

Moses jumped around like crazy in the bounce house.

"I got bouncing skills!"

Here's the one new thing that Moses did on this visit.

Yup, we went down the HUGE slide!

"WHEEEEEE!"

Who looks more relieved, Mommy or Moses?

Ryden's Halloween Party

Since Ryden was going to be gone for Halloween, he had a pre-Halloween party about two weeks ago.  It was a howling good time with all of Moses's closest buddies.

Our lil Moses-stein had a great time playing with all of Ryden's cool toys.

So like any crazy first time mother, we all wanted a group photo of all the kiddos dressed in their costumes.  So it started off with the first three kiddos.....

....and then we added two more.  But you can see that Moses was already trying to get off the couch.

So this was as close to a group photo we got.  It was still missing three little peeps.

As soon as the photo was taken, Moses was done with Frankenstein and had moved onto Brobee.

We might not have gotten a good group photo, but Mrs. Amy got an awesome party pic for us.
