Happy Birthday Charlotte!

Our neighbor friend, Charlotte, turned two.  We were lucky enough to get invited to celebrate her big day at Zoomars.

"Here guineas pig, EAT your salad!"

"Let me give you a kiss!"
This was done with Mommy not around.

"I'm gonna find gold in this here mine!"

Ivy wasn't so sure about that.  And of course, like a girl, she was right.  Moses didn't find any gold.

"No gold...well, playing in a pit of corn is just as fun!"

"Choo-choo!"

"GIDDY UP!"

"YEAH...I think I need a horse....PLEASE!"

Ivy didn't get to do much, but she left with smiles!

MEAT

In true Kaplowitz fashion, Moses is a huge carnivore!

"OOOHHH!!!  I LOVE MEAT!"

"Just a little lick to see how it is."

"NOM...NOM...NOM...I can't resist anymore!"

"Barbeque sauce all over is a sign of a good meal!"

San Diego Safari Park

A while back, the Wild Animal Park got a new name, the San Diego Safari Park.  So we decided to check it out.

"I'm nice and cozy and ready to see some animals!"
Unfortunately a lot of the exhibits were closed due to construction.

Moses rode the carousel over and over...and over and over....

Ivy got tired of the ride and decided to take a little nap.

Moses put his climbing skills to use and climbed this huge tree thing.
"I'm KING of the TREE!"

And then slid down it...with some help...thank goodness.

Of course, Ivy slept through it all.

Happy 4 Months!

Time is just flying by these days.  In April, our little Ivy turned 4 months old.  She is literally the happiest baby ever.

Just as happy as can be at the Botanical Gardens.

Just hanging out in my carseat.

Just showing off my cute skirt and baby legs (that my mommy made me).

Just showing off my sitting up skills.

Just sticking my tongue out...another one of my new talents.

Just working my core and sucking on my fist.

Happy 4 months!

Bowling

The weather has been a little gloomy lately, so Moses and his buddies hit the bowling alley for the first time.  It was so much fun and too cute to see them all in those great bowling shoes!

"Look how strong I am!  I can hold this 6 pound ball with no problem!"

"I need to start way back here with my aim!  Trust me, it will be a strike!"

"My form might not be as great as Mrs. Brandi over there, but I'm sure that I'll hit more pins than her."

"Thank goodness for those bumpers!"

While the big kids bowled, Ivy was quite entertained by her hands!

It was a GREAT time had by ALL.

What Does Every Girl Need?

Every girl needs a dolly, of course!  Grandma Annie sent Ivy her first dolly.

It was love at first sight!

MUUUAAAAHHH!  There were lots of hugs and kisses.

Ivy's first dolly provides her with minutes of entertainment!

Legoland Slide

Ever since Moses reached the allusive height of 36 inches, Legoland has become a whole new amusement park.  He is now able to ride so many more rides.  One of his favorites is the Dune Raiders slide.

The racers are all lined up and ready to SLIDE!

Our little man shot out of the gates like a bullet....but could he hold onto his lead.

Of course, he could.  Moses was the WINNER!

"What took you so long, Daddy?"
