Halloween Festivities Part I

Moses kicked off his Halloween festivities with a trip to the pumpkin patch with his Toddler Two's class.  Mommy had to work, so Daddy got to go for the second year in a row.  The first stop was the petting zoo.

"I promise I haven't touched anything yet.  So it's okay that my fingers are in my mouth!"

Our adventuresome monkey wanted to hit the ride next.  As you can see by his red cheeks, he thought the breeze from the spinning ride would cool him down.

"I'm HOT!  Why isn't this ride starting?!"

"Why is this girl crying?  She's ruining the ride for me!"

"WOO-HOO!  Now this is what I'm talking about!"

The ride didn't help enough with the heat, so Moses had to finish off his field trip with his first snow cone.

"This is quite refreshing!"

"HAPPY  HALLOWEEN!!  I can't wait to keep celebrating!"

Guess Who's Sleeping in my Crib?

Moses got an unexpected visitor in his crib the other day.  He got a really cozy tucking in that day.

"Can you believe Mommy fit in the crib?"

San Diego Children's Museum

A couple of weeks ago, we hit the San Diego Children's Museum.  Moses had a great time checking out all the new toys.

Moses also enjoyed the dress up area.

"I wanna be a FIREMAN!"

"No, maybe I'll go on a safari first!"

"How about we do both?  I can be a fireman going on a safari!"

"NAH!  I think I'll just be a fireman.  I think I look pretty good!"

He was able to build some really cool cars.  Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to get a picture of them, because as quickly as he built something, he destroyed it.

After all the building and destroying, Moses was ready to sit back and enjoy a puppet show by Daddy.

"Daddy is FUNNY!!"

"GREAT SHOW!"

We ended the trip with some water table fun.

Big Bear

At the beginning of October, we headed up to Big Bear for a little weekend getaway.  Moses found a sign that stated where he wanted to stop first.

"I think we should get some of this!"

Yup, it's official, we have that messy kid!

"Don't bother me....I'm enjoying some good rock candy!  If you check out my shirt, you can see that I already enjoyed some yummy spaghetti!"

After stuffing our faces...or shirts, we went on a horse drawn carriage ride through downtown Big Bear.

"Hey...what's that smell?"

"WOW!  It's really STINKY!!!"

"The horse peed.  I wanna see!"

"That horse still smells STINKY!"

While walking around downtown, Moses found a hand chair that he had to sit on.

That night we hit the arcade, where Moses proved to be quite the driver.  He must get that from his mommy.

The next morning, Moses got a delicious treat....a homemade marshmallow.

"This is the best marshmallow EVER!  And I'm NOT sharing!"

After the sweets, it was time to head to Oktoberfest.  There were lots of cool vendors, and of course, Moses found something he had to have.

"Can we take this giraffe home, PLEASE?"

We were able to lure him away with some music and the CHICKEN DANCE!

"Thanks Big Bear!  It was a great time!"

I'm Flying the Coop......

So at the ripe old age of 2, Moses decided that he was old enough to move out on his own.

"I've packed my bags and I'm ready to tackle the world!"

"Did you say something? I know....you guys will miss me!  I LOVE YOU TOO"

"I guess I'll stay home for now......for Mom and Dad's sake!"

The Many Faces of Moses......

As a toddler, Moses has mastered the art of face making.  He is quite talented.

"This is my silly face....makes you laugh....huh?!?"

"No autographs please!  I'm trying to hide from the paparazzi."

It Comes to an End with Disneyland

So after three fun-filled days, Moses' birthday celebration came to an end at Disneyland.
Moses got to meet Goofy for the first time.

After several rides, Moses took time to pose with Lightning McQueen.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.....AGAIN...and AGAIN....and AGAIN!"

"THANK YOU REESE and ROWAN for making the end to my birthday celebration SO MUCH FUN!"
