Splish...Splash....at Legoland

About two weeks ago, the weather reached the mid-70's, so we had to go play in some water.  Moses wanted to hit the Legoland splash area.

Moses was quite serious swinging on the green swing.

On the blue swing, we got a little smile and let loose a bit.  Guess it was the color change.

The best part was cooling off in the splash fountains.

Running on the water rainbow wasn't too bad either.

After drying off, Moses decided to get down to a pirate shanty.

Check out his fancy footwork!

Dinner with the Raymundo's

A couple of weeks ago, the Raymundo family came over for dinner.  In an effort to be better paparazzi, we tried to take some pictures.

This is the only picture we got of Rowan and Moses looking at the camera.  They were too busy pushing each other on the Toy Story car.

And here's the only decent picture we got of all three of them.

Thanks for a GREAT night, Raymundo family!

Welcome to Kidsville

About three weeks ago, the weather was a little gloomy so we headed to Kidsville.  It's an indoor city filled with make-shift buildings, like a school, hospital, and restaurant, that are stocked with toys that go with it.

Here's Moses checking out the big trucks.  He pulled out almost every truck he could find.

And here's Ryden pushing the pink stroller, his favorite activity.  Amy might say that Moses was pushing the pink stroller too, but there's no picture to prove it :).

Birthday Celebration Disney Style

About two weeks ago, we went back up for our 4th trip to Disneyland to celebrate Mommy's birthday.  The Raymundo girls and Maddie joined us for the fun!

The first stop was Casey Jr's Circus Train Ride.  Here we are with Maddie locked in our train cage like monkeys.

This is the only picture we got with most of the kids.  Rowan was asleep in her stroller, so here's Reese, Hans, Maddie and Moses in the Buzz Lightyear movie globe.

How do we end a day at Disneyland?  With a nap in the stroller, of course!

Notice who's wearing the Happy Birthday pin.

A Train Ride to Zoomar's

Last Monday, Moses and Ayla headed to Zoomar's, a petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano, on the train.

Here are the two little buddies ready for their first train ride.

"WOW!  Look at everything going by!"

"Look at all these rabbits and gerbils I get to feed and pet!"

"Uhm...why isn't this bunny eating this carrot?"
Could it be that Moses is trying to feed the bunny on his head?

With the help of Ayla, Moses got the hang of feeding the rabbits.

"Look!  I'm holding a gerbil all by myself."
Moses looks pretty happy about holding the gerbil, but you should have heard the poor gerbil.

Moses had no fear when it came to the goats.  Nothing was going to get in the way of him getting up that bridge.

"Move out of the way goats, cuz here I come!"

Moses rode on the train all by himself with Nicole and Ayla.

This day was filled with firsts.  Moses also swung on the big boy swing all by himself.

"Riding a bale of hay is pretty lame!"

"But riding a pony is pretty awesome!"

"That's right!  I'm riding a pony all by myself!"

"YEEHAW!!  I'm a true cowboy!"

The day ended with another train ride with Moses as the train conductor.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!

Daddy finally caved and we got annual passes to Disneyland.

Here are the Kappy boys in awe at the entrance.  As you can see on their faces, it was going to be an EXCITING day!

Well, it was an exciting day, until we had to wait in line for rides.

The first ride was Alice and Wonderland.  Moses had a wonderful time following that White Rabbit.

Then it was to the Mad Tea Party, where Moses spun around in his teacup.

"No kisses, Daddy!  Not on the ride!"

"OH! OKAY!"

Then for a calming ride, we headed for a boat ride on It's a Small World.  Moses's favorite part was the journey through Asia (GEE! Imagine that!)

Then it was time for a little siesta!

It was an adventure packed day, so maybe more than a little siesta.  It was an hour long snooze!

What makes waking up from a nap easy?  BUBBLES, of course!  A bubble gun was one souvenir that Moses needed.

And another souvenir that he needed was Mickey ears, of course.

Our little Daredevil.....

While changing the sheets on his crib, Moses found a new activity.  He decided to put his daredevil skills to the test.

"I promise I won't hurt myself!  It's just one little step up...."

"...or maybe a couple more steps up."

"Hey, look...I made it to the top!"

"WHEEE!!  Now I'll slide all the way back down!"

"That was FUN!  But, please don't try this at home!"
